ABOUT
Having always been an artist, I naturally see colors, shapes, and textures in cohesive design. Hair and makeup are an amazing way for me to create living, breathing, walking art, and YOU get to wear it!
I believe enhancing your beauty should never compromise your health. I use hair color and styling products that are naturally derived and eco concious. I consider myself color intelligent and have some serious confidence in the lightening realm. I specialize in what I call “Bespoke Blonding”; custom and tailor-made placement of lighter colors. I really have it down to a science. Each and every person in the world is unique and one of a kind, and I reflect this when designing color in blondes or deeper hair tones looking for a sunkissed look.
With many years of practice, including training at the MAKEUP FOREVER academy in NYC, I have developed a keen technique for enhancing every individual’s natural beauty. I have honed my practice in to mastering the perfect looks for brides and their wedding parties.
A healthy body and mind are essential in my life. I keep CrossFit and yoga high priority on my schedule, though I’m not shy around Taco Bell. My husband and I are always finding time to connect with nature. We camp, hike, and bike and love getting our hands in the dirt. I am a deeply compassionate person for all living beings, which extends through my diet. The only way I use animals in my life is by rescuing them! We have three big cats and two little dogs who keep me on my toes.
I am committed to growing and learning as much as I can by continuously attending industry education events. That means you will always have an updated look to help you look and feel your best! A thorough consultation is the key to getting your dream hair. Talking through your hair goals and setting realistic expectations is the very first step to achieve the perfect hair. Are you ready for the hair of your dreams? Let’s go on this journey together!

ABOUT
Hi, my name is Babette Newman. I have been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1986. I relocated here from Michigan in March of 2000. I have taught for Goldwell, Farouk Systems as a National Educator, and Schwarzkopf as a Local Educator. In late fall 2010, I became a certified Kuene Artisan, and I only use Kuene hair color. I do not process our chemicals with the use of lights or heating elements. Due to manufacturer recommendations, we will not sacrifice product or our services for improper finished results. We offer a calming non-pretentious environment. We treat your hair as a frame worn around your face 24 hours a day. Is your hair working for you? Or are you WORKING for your hair? Proper shape, shade, and tone should keep maintenance simplified. Be Aware It's Your Hair!

I realized I am in love with making people feel great by giving them an amazing cut and color. ABOUT
August 2012 marked my 38th year as a hairstylist. I have seen a lot of styles and fads come and go. Working with the young, new stylists is fascinating and reminiscing with the veterans is memorable. I enjoy every aspect of hairstyling from my first Minnesota client, Ruth at 95 years of age, to the young children that can barely climb into my chair. Having the opportunity of working in Michigan and managing two salons in Chicago and Minnesota has expanded my love for the business even more. I am greatly excited and am looking forward to many more years working with the hair district staff and the adventure of our new location in Eden Prairie.
